We used camo fabrics as appliqué on these and it turned out great, most of the designs use small amounts of appliqué so it is a great way to utilize your small scraps of fabric. I used an interesting technique when digitizing the animals in this collection. I like to refer to it as camo embroidery, the bear, dogs and deer are all created using 3-4 colors of tonal thread and the effect is a lifelike silhouette that blends right into the background.
